Slumber Cloud
During my time at Slumber Cloud, I led the eCommerce division through a period of significant growth, establishing it as a top revenue driver for the brand. As Head of eCommerce, I was responsible for Revenue Growth, Site Optimization, UX/UI Enhancements, Omnichannel Expansion, Team Leadership and Strategic Decision-Making. Under my leadership, Slumber Cloud transformed into a lean, data-driven eCommerce machine, setting the foundation for long-term scalability and success.
A Better Night’s Sleep Because of Science
And a Thoughtfully Designed User Experience
In March 2021, I joined Slumber Cloud to enhance their recently revamped brand and website. A primary focus was overhauling the product detail page to improve user experience and boost conversion rates. Previously, users had to scroll extensively to find basic product information, leading to frustration and potential drop-offs.
The redesigned product detail page streamlined the information layout, making it more accessible and user-friendly. A/B testing, conducted using tools like VWO, Convert & Intelligems, demonstrated significant improvements:
Conversion Rate (CVR): Increased by 29%, indicating a higher percentage of visitors making purchases.
Bounce Rate: Decreased by 23%, showing that fewer users left the site without interacting further.
Time Spent on Site: Increased by more than 100%, suggesting enhanced user engagement and interest.
Profit Margins: Improved by 5% due to optimized pricing strategies identified through testing with Intelligems.
These metrics underscore the effectiveness of the redesign in enhancing both user satisfaction and business performance.
A Design System
When I joined Slumber Cloud, the brand had a newly established guide, but no cohesive design system for the website. I took the initiative to build a comprehensive design system from the ground up, using Figma and ZeroHeight. This approach allowed for clear, accessible documentation and streamlined updates, ensuring consistency across the site while enabling agile design iterations as the brand evolved.
